Kotyck, now the third generation to help run the business, knew they would have to invest in new software that would "connect them to an ever-expanding range of suppliers and manufacturers who require communication over the Internet."
Although firmly rooted in Kotyck's past history of quality, service and experience, Michael was keen to look to the future. Some of the ideas Michael is investigating to improve service to its customer base are: ordering over the internet, access to customer accounts on the Internet, electronic catalogue on the Internet, EDI (electronic data interchange) and vendor managed inventory.
Streamline had the tools in place to turn orders around quickly and efficiently, plus, had the capability to link e-commerce technologies. This assured Michael that Streamline would continue to keep Kotyck on the cutting edge of technology to provide their "valued customers with the best service, selection, and value for their plumbing, heating and industrial supply needs." |
